Shakira is an elegant coffee, with a soft and round sweetness and fine notes of cloves and malic acid, added a hint of strength and character. Our Colombia Espresso Mild blend is for you who prefer a refined coffee experience with a nice crema. It can be roasted light, medium and dark, and can be used primarily for espresso-based brewing methods but also goes for filter coffee and french press.

Shakira is a blend of Arabica coffee beans from Nariño, one of Colombia's pearls, and of quality Robusta coffee beans from India. Nariño farmers plant some of the highest growing coffees in Colombia. The location close to the equator, volcanic soil and a high altitude with hot days and cold nights are perfect conditions for growing excellent coffee. The Robusta beans from India are of high quality and contribute strength and complexity to the coffee blend, while also providing a fine crema.
